Monday, Again?
I know what you’re thinking. How can I have my Best Morning Ever on a Monday?!
Well, yes, it’s true. It’s Monday again but it doesn’t have to be bad. Believe it or not, there are only 2 more Mondays left in 2022. That means we need to start thinking and planning for how we can make these last two Mondays, the best ever!
If we start practicing today perhaps our future Mondays in the new year will ALL be awesome. So, let’s explore some ways we can have the Best Morning Ever!
Morning Habit
One tip to having your best morning ever is to start with some morning habits. That’s actually how CupofMood got started.
If you don’t know my origin story behind CupofMood, check it out in the About Me section. But, to make a long story short, it was originally part of my Reclaiming My Spirit Blog.
It started as I was battling depression. I started shopping around for cups that would help me set a positive mood for the day. This was my original blog about CupofMood.
The problem is, I never stopped buying them. So now, I see my CupofMood cups and glasses as a way of offering and bringing joy into the world. Every time I send a cup to a customer, I feel like I’m sending a piece of handpicked joy.
Write Your Own Story
Another way to have your best morning ever is to write your own story. For me that means, know yourself and what works for you. As an example, I am definitely a morning person.
I am usually up around 3 or 4 in the morning. I do some of my most creative work around that time. That’s my story and that’s what works for me. Some people say to me, Girl, I couldn’t function that early in the morning.
Hey, I get it. I feel like that about being up late at night. I’ve always been a morning person and I completely acknowledge and accept that’s the best time for me to be productive.
The key is to honor what feels right and good to you. When you learn to listen and honor those things, magic can unfold.
Morning Meditation
Some people get lost in the word meditation. They ascribe it to mean some airy fairy way of doing something. For others, it means a disciplined practice where they spend hours on end sitting lotus style tuning the world out.
To me, meditation is any task in which you engage where you can lose track of time and be completely at peace while you’re doing it. For me that’s a range of things. On one day it could be gardening. On other days it could be actual sitting still kind of meditation.
There are many different types of meditation. Check out this article that explores 9 Types of Meditation to see if one of those ways works for you.
Believe Good Things Await
There’s no way to have your best morning ever if you don’t believe it can be your best morning ever. For me, I wake up expecting wonderful things to unfold for me.
I’m one of those people who truly believes The Universe is always working in my best interest. Even when I have set back, I try to look at it from the lesson I can learn from it. I won’t say it’s always easy but I do always try.
Gratitude
Sometimes it’s not easy to find gratitude in the things that don’t seem to be working out well for us. When I hit those times, I focus the most on gratitude.
For me, when I start counting my blessings and remembering God will never bring me to someplace from which he wouldn’t deliver me; I shift. I can go from feeling badly to feeling appreciative, and often curious.
I truly believe there are no wasted experiences, even bad ones. So, I try to find the silver lining and/or learning lesson in every experience.
An Abundance Of Happiness
If you can find a way to make Monday mornings your best mornings ever, the rest of your week should be a breeze!

Until next time,
Namaste,
