Madagascar Movie Scenes, A Great Laugh
As I was preparing the blog post, Which Madagascar Character Is Your Spirit Animal for my Reclaiming My Spirit blog I had a chance to look at and remember some hilarious Madagascar movie scenes.
How It Started
My trip down memory lane with these hilarious Madagascar movie scenes was inspired by this Tag 3D Hippo Mug I recently acquired for my CupofMood Shop.
As I looked at the cute mug, I couldn’t help but think of one of my favorite Madagascar movie characters. Gloria the hippo.
In fact, that’s what drove me to create the blog post about which Madagascar movie character is your spirit animal.
Gloria’s confidence and sassiness definitely works for me. Check her out in the clip below.
The Tag 3D Hippo Mug inspired me to check my cup inventory for other cups that could fit into a collection. It was the start of my Madagascar Collection.
With the inspiration from finding the Gloria inspired mug I looked at the penguin cups in my Penguin Collection cup and only one fit the look of the Madagascar movie scene stealers.
A Group of Madagascar Movie Scene Stealers
I had this cup and it definitely reminded me of those scheming penguins who often steal the scenes in the Madagascar movie scenes. Here’s an example of their early scene stealing scheme.
The hilarious, “Just smile and wave boys” gets me every time. So much so, I remembered I had another cup that would fit right in with that saying.
Just Nod & Smile
That Madagascar movie scene inspired me to add this Nod & Smile Mug to my Madagascar Collection. You can’t help but love the sentiment on this cup. Sometimes, it just makes sense to Nod and Smile and sometimes Nod and Wave, boys!
And Who Could Forget Alex the Lion?
Of course, I had to find the right cup to represent Alex the Lion in the wonderful Madagascar movie scenes. Let’s take a look at one of the clips of Alex and it will help explain why I chose this cup.
That lion cup was perfect because it kind of seemed more like Alex, less fierce and more cute. Also, because the cup kind of represents Alex and Melman. That’s because it has an image of a lion on one side and a giraffe on the other.
So, I present to you the Alex the lion inspired, Lion and Giraffe Mug. It’s another important part of the Madagascar collection.
Speaking of Melman
Listen, this World Market Giraffe Mug is perfect to represent Melman and his many imagined illnesses. Look no further than below to see some funny Melman Madagascar movie scenes.
Melman’s world always seems as upside down as the giraffe’s neck on this cute World Market Giraffe Mug. It makes the perfect Melman inspired coffee cup mug. The extra large size also makes it a great latte mug.
Don’t Forget About Phil!
Of course we can’t forget about Phil, the higher mammal chimpanzee who can read. This Pier 1 Monkey Mug seems like it would be a great representation of Phil!
Don’t worry if you don’t remember who Phil is. Just check out the Madagascar movie scene below.
We got our first inkling that Phil could read when we saw him in the beginning of the movie, collecting the newspaper.
Last But Not Least, Marty the Zebra
On this one, I have to admit. I don’t have a good Marty inspired cup to represent him. I mean, I do have this super cute Zebra Print Purse Mug but showing a zebra purse mug seemed a little wrong.
So let’s check out one of my favorite Marty lines in this Madagascar movie scene.
So, the best I could come up with for Marty for right now is this super cute martini glass.
That’s All Folks!
That’s all to the Madagascar Collection for now. I’ll continue to add more to the collection as I find, just the right ones.
I certainly hope you enjoyed watching the funny Madagascar movie clips as much as I enjoyed bringing them to you. Let me know what you thought by dropping me some comments.
Until next time,
Namaste,
Khadeeja
