I don’t understand it myself. Why some people hate Christmas is such an odd topic for a Christmas lover like me. I guess that’s because I didn’t grow up celebrating Christmas.
From a young age, I knew when I was old enough, I would do all the things I wasn’t allowed to do growing up as a Muslim kid. This definitely included celebrating Christmas. It’s still one of my favorite holidays.
Yet, like anything, just like there are reasons why some people like me, love Christmas. There are others with their own reason why some people hate Christmas. Let’s explore some of them.

The holidays can be stressful. For many people it can bring happy and fun memories. However, for some people, the holidays can be reminders of lost loved ones. That loss can take many forms. It can be an estrangement from family or it can be death.
So be kind, during the holiday season because not everyone may be feeling positive.

Some People Had Bad Childhood Holiday Experiences
Some people don’t have great memories from childhood. Those memories can forever more scar a person’s feelings about Christmas. I mean, would the Grinch be a different person if the scene below didn’t happen?
