That is one reason I am so excited about how much my College Mugs, Cups And Glassware Collection has grown. As I am writing this, the collection has 157 pieces, with colleges represented from all across the country. Some of those schools have personal connections to my family or me. While others have become familiar to me through the fun of finding and curating their drinkware.

These five pieces are only a small sample of what has grown into a College Collection with more than 150 individual pieces. That is the part that still makes me smile.
There are schools I recognize because of my own life and family connections. There are schools whose football traditions are familiar to almost everyone. Then there are universities that have become new discoveries for me while I have been building the collection.
I love all of that. Each new piece gives me an opportunity to learn something, recognize another school tradition, and imagine the person who is going to be thrilled when they find their college represented. That person may live five minutes from campus, or they may now live five states away.
Either way, the connection is still there. 🎓💖Sometimes it is a logo. Sometimes it is a mascot, a championship year, an old stadium cup, a school seal, or an unusual piece that brings back a memory the moment you see it.
That is the magic I want this College Collection to have.

I absolutely love football season. There is an energy around the whole experience that starts long before kickoff and continues after the final whistle.
