🏆⚾ Collector Notes
The Vintage 1991 Florida Marlins Glass Beer Mug celebrates the franchise’s earliest identity. Major League Baseball officially welcomed the Florida Marlins as an expansion team in 1991. Subsequently, the club began playing in 1993, bringing National League baseball to South Florida.
The original marlin logo features the team’s memorable teal coloring and dynamic fish illustration. Moreover, the artwork reflects the visual identity that accompanied the franchise’s arrival in professional baseball.
A small 1991 MLB copyright marking connects this design to the team’s founding era. Additionally, the Florida Marlins name recalls the franchise’s identity before its transition to the Miami Marlins in 2012.
For collectors, these early details create a nostalgic connection to the beginnings of Florida baseball. The substantial glass construction adds classic beer mug appeal. 🏆
